Ryan Hobbs, CFP®

President and Founder



Ryan Hobbs, President of Ryan Hobbs Investment Services is a Certified Financial PlannerTM Practitioner and holds securities licenses: 7, 24, 31, 63 & 65. Ryan Hobbs is an Investment Advisor Representative with Geneos Wealth Management Registered Investment Advisor, and is insurance licensed for Life, Health, Disability, Long-Term Care, and Annuities.

Ryan was a graduate and the valedictorian of Sulphur High School. He continued his education at Oklahoma State University and graduated with a 4.0 GPA and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. After working for 3 years in Tulsa, OK, for the engineering firm John Zink, Ryan knew that it was time for a career change. When asked what drew him to financial planning, Ryan states, "My engineering background and aptitudes prepared me for the technical aspects important to wealth management and financial planning, but the thing I enjoy most is the relationship that I share with each of my clients. Getting to know, to build true friendships, and to share in the lives of my clients is the ultimate reward!"

Ryan and his wife Jill have three children: two girls (Deryn and Hadyn) and a boy (Hudson). Giving back to his community is something that Ryan believes is very important. It shows in his community service activities such as the Ardmore Chamber of Commerce (past Chamber Board Chairman), the Ardmore Kiwanis Club (Board Member and Past President), Dornick Hills Country Club (Board Member and Past President) just to name a few. Ryan is committed to his faith and serves as Sunday School teacher in the youth group at the First Baptist Church. He also enjoys a myriad of outdoor activities such as golfing, hunting, cycling, fishing, camping and spending time with his family.

Ryan Hobbs is the President and founder of Ryan Hobbs Investment Services, Inc., and he has worked extensively in the field of financial planning and asset management since 1999. His designation is the premier designation in the field, the Certified Financial Planner™ designation.

Katie Sparks

Office Manager



Katie Sparks has been the Office Manager at Ryan Hobbs Investment Services since June of 2018. She maintains daily office operations, account maintenance, and client relations. Katie is a graduate and valedictorian of Kingfisher High School and grew up on a wheat farm in northwest Oklahoma. Katie has a Bachelor of Science degree in agricultural education from Oklahoma State University, and a Master of Education degree in school counseling from the University of Central Oklahoma. She served as an agricultural education teacher and a junior high school counselor in the Oklahoma public school system for 6 years before joining our team.

Katie and her husband Dillon have one son (Henry) and a daughter on the way. Together, they have a farming and ranching operation. Katie feels that building connections within the community is the best way to serve others. She is a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and the Southern Oklahoma Library System Board of Directors. She volunteers for local and statewide FFA contests and events. Her hobbies include gardening, kayaking, running, and spending time with her family.

When asked what she likes most about this job, she says “I enjoy getting to know clients and their families and helping them plan for the future. We are able to celebrate in so many exciting moments in people’s lives which is an honor.”

Dillon Lambert

VP of Operations



Dillon Lambert has been working as the Vice President of Operations since May 2017. In this role, he manages client relationships, constructs retirement plans, and assists in investment related activities.
Dillon is a registered representative with Geneos Wealth Management, Inc. He currently holds his FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses. He also holds his Life, Health and Accident Insurance license with the State of Oklahoma Department of Insurance.

Dillon is born and raised in the Ardmore area. He attended and graduated from Plainview public schools. In 2013, Dillon graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor’s in Multi-disciplinary Studies.
Upon graduating Dillon has spent time as an Oil & Gas Lease broker, insurance salesman, and a brief stint in construction. When asked about his past work experience he shared, “I feel that every job I’ve held to this point has brought me here. I can draw from experiences at each position to continue to better myself and provide great value to our clients.”

Outside of work Dillon enjoys playing and watching organized sports and spending time at the lake with his friends and family. He currently serves as an ambassador for the Ardmore Chamber of Commerce and participates in Ardmore Young Professionals.

His thoughts on the future: “I’ve only begun to scratch the service in this industry. I’m so excited to continue to learn on my own and having someone like Ryan is a huge asset. There is always something to learn to benefit our clients and I really enjoy that part. My favorite, of course, is the relationships and interactions we get to foster in this business. I’ve truly found a way to help people and I love that.”
